Troublesome Topic: AI CANNOT REPLACE THE HUMAN SOUL OR SPIRIT

We should not fear that AI will replace humans.

There are claims that AI will one day be able to do everything that humans do. That is impossible because humans have a soul and a spirit. AI cannot do anything to replicate either the soul or the spirit. Such statements deny the Bible’s description of what man is; they reduce man to only a part of what he was created to be, maybe less than 30% of what we are.

Such statements are based on an evolutionistic worldview which reduces everything to a material or physical state and denies the existence of anything other than the physical.

But human beings are more than just matter and energy.

AI can possibly be trained to do many things in the physical and information aspect of human life, but it will never replace the human soul or the human spirit.
