He cares for my needs and I care for his needs;
I satisfy his needs with my beauty.
Notice that, after asking him to watch out for the small opportunistic troublemakers, she doesn’t stop there. She does not stop at asking for something for herself; she offers herself to him as well. A wife whose needs are met will then respond to her husband’s needs, and when that happens she will usually out-respond him every time, that is the way women have been designed.
Outward beauty is of little value if there is no inner beauty, beauty of character. The Shulammite seems to have both kinds of beauty; she is an attractive woman and she is a wonderful person. Solomon has needs that are sexual, and needs that are deeper than that. Her beauty on multiple levels helps meet his needs on multiple levels. While God is the only one that can meet certain needs, a wife can be God’s agent in meeting many of her husband’s needs.

Literally, “My beloved to me and I to him.” She is saying, I know he is totally committed to me and totally available to me because he has given himself to me; likewise, I am totally committed to him and totally available to him because I have given myself to him. In this case she starts with him, and therefore her emphasis is on him and his constant and complete commitment to her. Later in The Song (6:3) she will turn it around and start with herself, emphasizing her loyalty to him.
