But if in the field a man finds a young woman who is betrothed and the man is strong and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her must die.

But if it happens that a man finds and catches an engaged woman in a solitary place where there is no one to hear her scream and come to her aid, and the man proves too strong for her to resist and he rapes her, only the man who raped her must die.
