Ecclesiastes2:9

Translation

So I became great, and I increased

more than all who were in JERUSALEM before me, yet my wisdom remained with me.

Paraphrase

So you can see that I became great by all measurements, I grew to be greater than all those who had come before me among the PEACEFUL ONES, and in the process my God-given wisdom continued guiding me.

Here is proof positive, as positive as we can find, that Solomon did not use his harem incorrectly, or in ways that displeased God, until after the writing of Ecclesiastes.
