Paraphrase

If the plague spot is pale green or reddish (no matter what type of clothing it is found in, and various possibilities are given) it must be shown to a priest.

Footnotes

1: Pale green

The Hebrew adjective used here means light green, pale green, green but lacking in color, translucent green. This is the color found in young plants or sickly plants. It comes from a root that means to spit, hence the idea of something translucent.

2

This is the word adam (which means red along with other things) but it has a reduplication of the last three letters tacked on to the end (adamdam). The reduplication does not serve as emphasis, but rather to tone down the color red.
