And having seen him ZACHARIAH’S emotions were stirred up inside him

When he saw him, THE ONE WHOM THE ETERNAL AND PERSONAL GOD REMEMBERS had his emotions all stirred up inside him, and he was gripped with fear.


1: “emotions were stirred up inside him”

The verb used here means “to set in motion” something that should remain still or quiet. It connotes the idea of the emotions being all stirred up, agitated, disquieted; it is someone who is troubled in spirit, or inwardly perplexed.
