“The SUPREME RULER has made this impossible thing become a reality for me; in the days in which He chose to make me the focus of His mercy and grace, He took away the disgrace I felt in my relationships with others.


1: “took away my disgrace”

Since being barren was considered a curse, she would have been the constant object of sideways glances and whispers. Barrenness was an emotional burden for her, but also a social strain, affecting every relationship. No matter how piously she lived her life, others would assume that God was rejecting her. Now finally God was vindicating her in front of everyone.
