I turned to see

the voice speaking to me,

and when I turned, I saw seven golden lampstands

Paraphrase

I turned to see the one who was making himself known to me, and when I turned, I saw all the people of God serving as demonstrations of God’s glory, through purity of life, which is made possible by the Holy Spirit, causing them to shine the light of the Gospel to the world.
