Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen, and repent, and do those deeds you did at first. But if you do not do so, I am on my way to you right now, and I will remove your lampstand
from its place,
if you do not repent.
Paraphrase
Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen,
and repent, and do those deeds you did at first. But if you do not do so,
watch out, because I am on my way to you right now, and I will remove you from your place among the people of God serving as demonstrations of God’s glory, through purity of life, which is made possible by the Holy Spirit, causing them to shine the light of the Gospel to the world, if you do not repent.
