The watchmen,
Go to footnote numberthose who patrol the city, found me,
“Have you seen the one my heart loves?”
Paraphrase
Those responsible for safety and security of the city, those who watch all that goes on in it in order to keep people safe, found me,
I asked them, “Do you know how I can fulfill my heart’s desire?”
